City of Elba Finance and Accounting Office:
The City Accountant assists the Mayor with the development and implementation of financial systems and budgets, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
The Accountant's Office is also responsible for all Accounts Payable and Receivables for the City of Elba and the Water & Electric Board.
The City Accountant also serves as the Assistant City Clerk.
The City Accountant answers to the Mayor.
